Valentine’s Day Workout: Total Body Love

The beginning of a New Year is filled with the attempts to reset our bodies and minds after a busy holiday season. As we get back in the swing of things with the start of 2018, it’s easy to let time pass and forget about the holiday that will soon be upon us. One of my favorites: Valentine’s Day! It seems to come up so quickly each year, but as February approaches I am finding myself getting more excited for the celebration.

Whether you are single, taken, or anything in between, Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love. In the spirit of the upcoming holiday, I’ve created a workout to show your body some love. This total body Valentine’s Day workout works all areas of your body to help you prepare for the holiday. This workout has three focus areas – legs, abs, and arms. Each set is to be completed twice, with 14 repetitions of each move (ah – 2/14:).

I love using small holidays to boost my workout mojo and give some creativity to my workouts. And what better holiday to base a workout around than one dedicated to love?! Our bodies can always use a little love and self care during the winter.

Here is my favorite Valentine’s Day workout! You can complete this workout with a partner to kick off your festivities, or on your own in preparation for the day.
