It’s hard to believe that March is already well under way, but here we are a few days into the month. The start of March means that in just a few days we will be celebrating one of the luckiest holidays out there: St. Patrick’s Day! St. Patrick’s Day is always a blast for those who are Irish as well as those who are not.

Despite being Irish myself, I have never really gotten into the holiday much more than wearing green and looking for four leaf clovers. My favorite part of this holiday is the spirit of luck and happiness that surrounds the festivities. In my opinion, the best way to get in the spirit and kick start a holiday is by giving your body some love with a themed workout! This Full Body Dumbbell Workout will do just that.

In an attempt to incorporate the festivities into my day, I have created a full body dumbbell workout to set you up for success this St. Patrick’s Day! This St. Patrick’s Day workout will get you in the spirit and feeling lucky, as the moves are completed in groups of lucky 7s. There are 7 moves total, targeting your legs, arms, and core. Each move is completed in 3 sets, with 7 repetitions each set and a short break in between.

This full body dumbbell workout is incredibly efficient, and will quickly strengthen your entire body with these classic moves that are enhanced with added weight. With just a pair of dumbbells, these moves will leave your legs, arms and core burning, and stronger than ever.

  1. 7 Weighted Curtsy Squats (on each side) … repeat x 3
  2. 7 Weighted Russian Twists … repeat x 3
  3. 7 Chest Presses … repeat x 3
  4. 7 Weighted Hip Lifts … repeat x 3
  5. 7 Weighted Side Plank Overhead Reach & Touch (on each side) … repeat x 3
  6. 7 Hammer Curls … repeat x 3
